About

My name is Ayo

I believe that healing happens when people feel both understood and supported—not rushed, judged, or reduced to a diagnosis.

I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW, SIFI) with a background that bridges mental health, wellness, and medical foundations. My work is rooted in the belief that mental health is not separate from the body, our lived experiences, or the systems we move through—it is deeply interconnected.

Before completing my clinical training, I completed pre-medical coursework, which shaped how I understand the mind-body connection and the ways stress, trauma, environment, and physiology interact. This foundation allows me to approach care with a holistic lens, integrating both psychological and physical considerations into treatment planning.

My role is not to “fix” you—but to walk alongside you as you build insight, skills, and sustainable change in a way that aligns with your values and your life.

Clinical Approach

My clinical approach is integrative, collaborative, and evidence-based. I do not believe in one-size-fits-all therapy. Instead, I draw from multiple therapeutic modalities and tailor treatment to each individual’s goals, needs, and readiness.

Modalities I Integrate Include:

•Internal Family Systems  (IFS)

•Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT)

•EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing)

•Somatic approaches

•Trauma-informed and strengths-based approaches

Sessions are structured yet flexible, balancing skill-building with reflection and insight. Whether we are working on emotional regulation, trauma processing, identity exploration, ADHD support, or life transitions, care is always grounded in evidence-based practice and delivered with compassion.

I am deeply committed to lifelong learning and professional growth. Mental health care is constantly evolving, and I believe clients deserve care that reflects current research, ethical standards, and best practices.

I regularly engage in:

  • Advanced clinical trainings

  • Continuing education

  • Professional consultation and supervision

  • Ongoing skill development in emerging and evidence-based modalities

This commitment ensures that the care I provide is not only thoughtful and supportive—but also clinically sound and up to date.

Commitment to Ongoing Learning

Training, Credentials & Supervision

  • Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW)

  • LCSW-SIFI (Supervision in Field Instruction)

  • Advanced training in CBT, DBT, IFS, EMDR, and trauma-informed care

  • Experience providing therapy, coaching, case consultation, and exam preparation for emerging clinicians

A Final Note

If you’re ready for change and curious about parts of yourself you may have struggled with or felt distant from, I may be a good fit for you.

I bring a parts-based lens into all of my work—whether we’re engaging in therapy, consultation, coaching, tutoring, or a Pick My Brain session. Our time together is focused on building insight, understanding how your internal system operates, and supporting growth in the areas that matter most to you.

I’m committed to helping people develop a healthier relationship with themselves and their parts, recognizing that these parts exist to protect. If this resonates, I’d be honored to work with you.
