Social Work Consultation Social Work Consultation is a dedicated space for social workers and clinicians who are seeking thoughtful, field-informed support around their careers, professional identities, and practice decisions. This service is designed for clinicians who want a place to slow down, reflect, and think critically with an experienced social worker who understands the realities of clinical work, systems, leadership, and private practice. This is a collaborative, reflective space focused on clarity, perspective, and professional growth. Who This Is For Social Work Consultation may be a good fit if you are: • A social worker or therapist navigating a career pivot or transition • A clinician experiencing burnout, uncertainty, or professional stagnation • A therapist building, restructuring, or sustaining a private practice • A social worker seeking mentorship outside of formal supervision • A clinician wanting a space to think through complex professional or ethical decisions How Consultation Can Be Helpful Consultation sessions can support you in: • Clarifying career direction and next steps • Thinking through ethical or systemic challenges • Exploring professional identity, boundaries, and sustainability • Gaining perspective and insight from an experienced clinician • Reducing isolation and feeling more grounded in your work Sessions are tailored to your goals and grounded in real-world social work experience. What This Is — and What It Is Not Social Work Consultation is: • A professional, reflective, and collaborative space • Mentorship and consultation grounded in social work practice Social Work Consultation is not: • Psychotherapy or mental health treatment • Clinical supervision or supervision toward licensure • A replacement for agency-based supervision • Case management or crisis support Available to social workers and clinicians at all stages of practice
Cancellation Policy
Practice Policies General Policies (All Services) By scheduling any service with this practice—including therapy, ASWB tutoring, academic tutoring, consultation, Pick My Brain sessions, or wellness coaching—you acknowledge and agree to the following. Payment Responsibility Payment is due at time of service unless otherwise arranged in writing. By booking, you authorize this practice to securely store your credit card on file and charge it for services rendered, including late cancellations, no-shows, or unpaid balances. Cancellation & No-Show Policy A minimum of 48 hours’ notice is required to cancel or reschedule any appointment. • Appointments canceled with less than 48 hours’ notice or missed entirely incur a $75 late cancellation/no-show fee. • This policy applies to all services, regardless of reason, incl. emergencies. No Refund Policy All services are non-refundable. Once booked, the session time is reserved exclusively for you and cannot be refunded. Late Arrivals Sessions end at the scheduled time. Late arrivals do not receive extended time and the full session fee applies. Therapy Services Policy (Private Pay & Insurance) Therapy services are provided in accordance with professional and ethical standards. • Sessions are billed at the agreed-upon rate at booking. • Private pay clients must pay at time of service. • Missed sessions and late cancellations are not billable to insurance and are the client’s responsibility. • Therapy is a clinical service and is distinct from coaching, tutoring, or consultation. Consultation, Tutoring, Pick My Brain & Wellness Coaching These services are non-clinical and non-therapeutic. • Services are educational, professional, or coaching-based and do not constitute therapy, mental health treatment, clinical supervision, or crisis services. • No diagnosis, treatment planning, or therapeutic intervention is provided. • Services are private pay only and not covered by insurance. • Sessions are billed at the published rate and subject to the same 48-hour cancellation and no-refund policies. Credit Card Authorization & Agreement By booking, you acknowledge that: • You are financially responsible for session fees. • You authorize charges to your card on file for services rendered, late cancellations, no-shows, or outstanding balances. • Failure to pay may result in suspension of future services.
